Hello

Your immune system is an incredible shield which protects you from anything that the body doesn’t recognise as being helpful. With the challenges that we face from the current virus, boosting your immune response is probably the most important thing that you can do. Apart from normal sensible hygiene, I would like to suggest a few simple steps you can do:
 
1. Include ginger, garlic or turmeric with your meals. Ginger is one of the best anti-viral foods you can take but don’t take too much and certainly not all three together! Another great herb which has been well-researched as an anti-viral is Neem.
 
2. Eliminate or considerably reduce your sugar intake, especially from some energy drinks as they’re loaded with added sugar, and avoid sweets and candies.
 
3. Find time for gentle yoga and meditation.
 
4. Focus on slow, gentle, deep breathing to boost the autonomic nervous system for the repair and regeneration of your cells. Your breath is one of your best defences to reduce stress.

As we start our new year and most of us are curious about what it holds, our popular Acushla will be back in mid March for 2 weeks. She will also be presenting a workshop, the Law of Radiance, based on her new book.
 
And then at the end of March we welcome Stefanie Holzer back for a couple of weeks. She will be offering her usual Deep Tissue Matrix Healing massage.
 
Then Adam Higgs will be back in April.

 

Mark Nelson leads a Shamanic Fundamentals workshop, Working with Darkness, next week.

Over the next month we will be holding Reiki level 1 and 2 classes as well as our regular Reiki practice evenings at both intermediate and advanced levels.
