Chinese Astrology
Chinese Astrology is based on the Yin – Yang and the Five Elements theory. The astrological birth chart built by a Chinese Astrology calendar is a combination chart of Yin-Yang, Five Elements and 12 animals. It is a complex study of how we are made up of the five elements of FIRE – EARTH – METAL – WATER – WOOD.
What we have too much or too little of at any stage will form the productive and disruptive periods of our lives. Striking the right balance through the journey of life is not easy. Knowing the elements that affect us during the various phases of our journey allows us to take action to make this as comfortable and productive as possible.
Chinese Astrology doesn’t advocate that you should only expect good stuff from your destiny; after all, life is made of positives as well as negatives, so be prepared to sometimes gnaw at the stale pieces of bread or even go to bed with an empty stomach. If you learn to look at events around you with philosophical calm, you will save energy and spare yourself frequent headaches.
Our life plan or destiny comes down to the interaction between the Five Elements and how they affect our general well-being. Each element holds its own essence over us and some will support and enhance us while others will weaken and exhaust us. Therefore, it’s important to determine which elements will give support and assistance and which will be exhausting during various aspects of our life’s journey.
The Chinese Zodiac System offers great insights into our compatibility with others. This can be very helpful for adults in terms of personal relationships (work colleagues and potential business partners) and in the case of babies to have insight into who will be most compatible from an early age. Of course, these are only general astrological guidelines.
The primary point of reference for an in-depth analysis would be a person’s date of birth, as our astrological sign offers us insight into our personality traits and how we are perceived by others. Animal signs generally interact to their own synchronized and elementally compatible signs. The energy between astrological signs may be enhanced or reduced depending on the Feng Shui energy of each sign in different years, which is why it’s important to fine tune the level of affinity each year.
