Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a scientifically proven, safe, non-invasive and extremely powerful tool for helping people make lasting changes in their lives. The trance state is a perfectly natural, relaxing and enjoyable experience and it holds the key to unlocking your inner potential. Your subconscious mind is extremely powerful and has an enormous impact on you throughout the day (when was the last time you had to remind yourself to breathe?). All too often, however, it's full of old, outdated and unhelpful beliefs learned when you were younger, such as "I'll never break this habit" or "I always fail". These beliefs are always running in the background and can sabotage our best efforts for positive change.
Hypnosis is a state of consciousness you enter and leave naturally throughout the day and it feels very much like day dreaming, that state between sleeping and waking. Your conscious mind stays completely aware the whole time and you are always in control and able to respond normally. In the hypnotic state, your therapist will talk directly with the subconscious mind, replacing your outdated and destructive beliefs with positive, forward-looking suggestions that enable the conscious will and the subconscious mind to work together, often with extraordinary results.
Hypnosis is a powerful tool for self-empowerment and can also help in situations that have a psychological aspect, including:
- phobias (such as fear of flying)
- stopping smoking (and other addictions)
- weight loss
- stress relief
- performance anxiety (such as public speaking)
- enhanced performance in sport or sales
- relief from medical conditions like eczema, blushing, IBS
Julien Willm
Julien was born and raised in France and came to Hong Kong in 2003. He spent 10 years in the corporate world after his degree in International Business Management, but his strong interest in alternative therapies and holistic treatments led him to leave the business world and focus on helping others. He is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (USA) and the European Association of Regression Therapy. Julien is also proficient in other healing modalities that can be used to complement his therapy sessions, such as Applied Kinesiology (emotional release), Yuen Method and Matrix Energetics.
Each session is different and personalised to your own needs. Hypnotherapy sessions usually last for 1 hour and regression therapy for 2 hours. Therapeutic goals are set after an initial assessment and it usually takes between one and six sessions to address an issue. Julien is available on Mondays and Wednesdays and on other days by arrangement.
