Originally from Montreal, John is a full time Vedic astrologer (jhotishi) and palmist as well as a Reconnective Healer. He studied Vedic astrology intensively during the 1990s with the well known Jhotishi Vedic astrologer, Professor Choudhry of Gurgaon outside Delhi. Vedic Astrology workshop

In this basic introduction to Vedic Astrology, you will learn the meanings of the planets and the 12 houses of the birth chart as well as the meaning of the signs. 

John will also talk about the planets in transit and how they are going to have a major impact on the world for 2009 and 2010 and bring forth a major transformation for humanity. He will review the impact of Uranus opposite Saturn that occurred in October 2008, bringing down the financial structure of the western world, and how these two planets will be opposing each other off and on for the next 18 months. Saturn is control, restriction and conventional ways while Uranus stands for electrifying and shocking changes to our freedom. He will also discuss the charts of world leaders such as Barrack Obama.

Palmistry workshop

Saturday 21 February  (11.00 am - 4.00 pm)

Learn about the importance of the planets as seen through your hand and about the major lines in your hand (Heart Line, Head Line and Destiny Line). Find out how the unconscious and conscious lines in the left and right hand play a huge part in our habits and patterns. John will also explain how the lines in your hand can change from six months to a number of years.

He will talk about the very busy union lines (relationship lines) seen in your hand that cover less than 5% of your hand, yet take up over 50%, if not more, of your energy. John will also discuss your fortune lines, such as the lines under the ring finger (the sun finger), as well as the abundance and teaching lines beneath the index finger (jupiter finger) or the lines of rigidity or scandal beneath the longest finger of your hand (Saturn).

In the afternoon, he will roll ink on every participant's hand and take a handprint on plain white paper to show the major and minor lines. He will then give a personal handprint analysis in the workshop. This is a unique way of reading palms.
